Katrina Simpson

Katrina Simpson Informing Inspiring and Motivating Katrina Simpson currently works as a Program Coordinator for Sterile Processing and as a Lab/Clinical Instructor for Fayetteville Technical Community College. Previously, she has worked in the areas of Surgical Technology and Sterile Processing for over a decade at numerous hospitals across the United States. Katrina was accepted into the Institute for Community Leadership (ICL) in 2014 as a class XI participant in the city of Fayetteville, North Carolina in which the institution teaches its participants necessary skills to contribute back and/or serve the community. She serves as a teen mentor in her community, and is planning on serving on numerous city council boards within her community.

Katrina currently holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration and Associates in Health Sciences. She is certified in Surgical Technology through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting. Katrina is also certified in Sterile Processing through the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD). Katrina is currently completing her last two classes for her Master’s Degree in Human Services Counseling in which her completion date is scheduled for May 9, 2015. She plans on continuing her education after her completion to earn her terminal degree in Counseling.

Katrina Simpson Different but IdenticalMotivational speaking found Katrina. She decided to create a motivational Facebook page titled: Informing, Inspiring, and Motivating in 2014 to reach out to people daily with inspirational quotes and words of empowerment for her followers. Her page to date which started with less than 100 followers, has now grown to over 12,000 followers, in which is consistently growing each week. She also gives her sterile processing and surgical technology student’s weekly motivation speeches to encourage them to keep on pressing through with the constant challenges they face as students, parents, and employees. Katrina is a new author with a recently published book titled: Informing, Inspiring, and Motivating: Quotes and Bonus Poetry for Personal Empowerment. She also has a children’s book titled Different but Identical in which her 11 year old daughter designed the illustrations. She is currently working on her next book, a fictional novel.
